Biography
Blair Bumgarner, MBA, is the Director for Research Management at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). In this role, he provides leadership, management, and supervision in order to deliver timely, high-quality, and policy-relevant results as part of an ongoing production process for key health indicators. Blair joined IHME in 2016 and has led the efforts to standardize processes across IHME to allow for the consistent and predictable production of estimates. Prior to joining IHME, Blair worked at Microsoft, where his most recent role was as a Program Manager in Global Readiness. In that role, he managed pricing, licensing, and fair value efforts for product launches, including Windows 10, Office 365, and OneDrive. He was awarded the Operations Innovation Hero Award for leadership in the Activation for Office product.
