Bruce Hollingsworth is a Professor of Health Economics in the Division of Health Research at Lancaster University, where he also leads the Health Economics at Lancaster group.
Dr. Hollingsworth’s research and international collaborative publications are principally in the area of efficiency measurement with respect to the production of health and health care, social determinants of health, and the translation of research into practice.
Dr. Hollingsworth runs the official International Health Economics Association (iHEA) discussion list and sits on the iHEA Board of Directors and International Scientific Committee. He is an active member of health economics organizations worldwide and is an invited speaker at many international conferences and Government bodies. He is a referee for 40 international journals, has over 150 publications, and is the Editor of Health Economics Letters and Associate Editor of The DEA Journal, as well as being on the Editorial Board of The Handbook of Global Health Economics.
Dr. Hollingsworth previously worked at the Centre for Health Economics at Monash University Australia, where he was Director from 2009 to 2011.
