Biography
Dawn Shepard is the graphic designer at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). In this role, Dawn is responsible for IHME's graphic design needs.
As the graphic designer, she works closely with IHME staff and faculty to create the layout and design for policy reports, brochures, postcards, advertisements, infographics, and branded materials.
Dawn, who has been designing since 2009, joined IHME in 2014. Her educational background includes a BA in Communications from the University of Iowa, in addition to an AAS in Graphic Design. Before joining the Institute, Dawn worked with several companies across the Pacific Northwest as both a freelance and in-house graphic designer.
Her goal is to help people understand ideas better through the use of design, as well as add a little joy to the world.
