Dr. Yanfang Su holds an ScD in Global Health and Population from Harvard University and is a Postdoctoral Fellow on the Resource Tracking team. Dr. Su's expertise is primarily in health financing. Since 2015, she has been consulting for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and its grantees to improve global primary health care systems. Dr. Su also previously worked at Tsinghua University and at the Hong Kong Policy and Research Institute. In addition, Dr. Su created an NGO called East West Alliance for Education and Health (EWA) that delivered free mHealth (health services using mobile phones) in China and Tanzania.
IHME was established at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2007. Its mission is to improve health through better health evidence.
