IHME Assistant Professor Abraham ​Flaxman joins Tech Review’s exceptionally talented ranks this fall at EmTech MIT 2012. The annual conference will bring together this year’s TR35 award winners to discuss technology innovations that are changing the way we conduct business and interact as a global community. Past winners of the TR35 Award include Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg and Google co-founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page.

Dr. Flaxman will present his pioneering methods in global health, particularly the impact his computational tools and algorithms have had on the soon-to-be published Global Burden of Disease Study 2010 (GBD 2010). Along with presentations from this year’s award winners, an awards ceremony will honor the individuals for their remarkable achievements.
