Faculty and fellows from IHME will attend the sixth-annual Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH) conference: Mobilizing research for global health. Designed to address fundamental challenges in global health, the conference draws researchers, implementers, students, and others working to find ways to improve population health worldwide.

Associate Professor Joseph Dieleman will give the talk “Estimating national poverty rates and their effect on mortality: 129 countries, 1990-2013.” Research Associate and PhD candidate Roy Burstein will speak on “Assessing primary health care in Nigeria: a systematic subnational analysis of levels and trends in maternal and child interventions from 2000 to 2013.”
