Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation Director Christopher J.L. Murray and Assistant Professor Haidong Wang present the Global Burden of Disease Study 2010 (GBD 2010) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

GBD 2010, a collaborative project led by IHME at the University of Washington, is the new platform for assessing the world’s biggest health challenges. The study reveals massive shifts in health around the world since the previous edition of the study in 1990. GBD 2010 promises to bring new attention to a broader range of illnesses and conditions having an impact on health worldwide and to help guide new target setting for health improvement.

This event will be available via webcast, provided by NIH on the day of the event.
