Thank you for your interest in the US Counties Drivers of Health Study.
This study is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The purpose of the focus groups is to gain insight from women living in your county on the status of health within your county and identify what types of outside factors affect the health of women living there. If you agree to participate, we will ask you questions about your opinion of the health, needs and resources in your county, as well as your experiences and perspectives living there. We will use the information collected during the focus group for research purposes. This will take about 2 hours and we may audio record the discussion.
Before we determine your eligibility for the study, please review the following information about the study and the screening questions. We are looking for participants for a Focus Group that is part of a research study being conducted by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington. The purpose of this important study is to better understand the health of residents in your county and explore what is affecting health.
If you are still interested in participating, we will need to ask you some questions first to see if you’re eligible to participate in the research study. This online screening will ask you about your age, race, gender and county of residence. This should only take about 1 minute, and will help us to know if you qualify or not.
All of the information you provide will be confidential and participation is voluntary. You do not have to answer any questions you do not want to answer and you may choose to end this screening at any time.
If you have additional questions about this study you may contact our study team at 844-847-7895. Please contact us with any questions you have as you go along, too.
Your participation is completely voluntary.
If you are still interested in participating please continue with the eligibility questions.
