Financing Global Health 2014 report launch

The policy report Financing Global Health 2014: Shifts in Funding as the MDG Era Closes launched at an event hosted by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).

IHME Director Dr. Christopher Murray presented findings from the report and a related article published in JAMAthe Journal of the American Medical Association. Dr. Murray highlighted how funding patterns have shifted across time and identified where funding gaps persist.

Following Dr. Murray's presentation, Talia Dubovi, Deputy Director of the CSIS Global Health Policy Center, facilitated a roundtable discussion featuring Dr. Murray, Dr. Howard Bauchner, Editor-in-Chief of JAMA, and Dr. Jennifer Kates, Vice President and Director of Global Health and HIV Policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation. The discussion focused on the report’s policy implications.
