Interact with the Financing Global Health data visual. [2]

About the tool

Explore patterns of global health financing flows from 1990 to 2050 in an updated tool. View trends in global health spending with interactive bar charts, maps, and line graphs. Explore development assistance for health (DAH) levels and changes over time by source, channel, recipient region, and health focus and program area. Compare DAH disbursed or received by population, disability-adjusted life years, gross domestic product, and government health spending. View all-cause spending for every country from 1995 to 2050, HIV/AIDS spending for low- and middle-income countries from 2000 to 2019, and malaria spending estimates for endemic countries from 2000 to 2020. See tuberculosis spending estimates for low- and middle-income countries from 2000 to 2017. Find updated COVID-19 spending estimates by health focus area for 2020 and 2021.
