Assessing Impact, Improving Health: Progress in Child Health Across Regions in Uganda
December 3, 2015
Assessing Impact, Improving Health: Progress in Child Health Across Regions in Uganda is the culmination of the Malaria Control Policy Assessment (MCPA) project, which has sought to quantify the impact of malaria control and other child health interventions on reductions in under-5 mortality. For the first time, annual estimates of key child health outcomes, intervention coverage, and socio-demographic factors are available at the regional level, allowing for side-by-side comparisons of health performance over geography and across indicators from 1990 to 2011. Funding for this work was provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – Malaria Country Progress Assessment (Investment #OPPGH4636).
